Before I started using Every Dollar

Before I started using every dollar, I was an absolute trainwreck at managing my money. I always felt the need to use any leftover money. I absolutely did not like my money sitting in my bank account doing nothing.
I would usually use any leftover money to order food, “investing” it in online poker, or spending it on various online money-making opportunities, which were poor financial decisions, based on the income I was bringing in. I was always thinking of short-term gains versus the long term. I would have my own car by now if I had budgeted correctly. But that is a story for another time.

Who should use Every Dollar?

This tool is useful for anybody interested in working on their financial discipline. But I think this should be a required tool for students. Especially high school students — the earlier you start the better.
Question: Have you tried Every Dollar yet? What are you using to track your finances?  ]]>
